battlefied 3 proxy server problems

Can anyone please help! I am going to go insane!!!!! Recently I downloaded the latest BF3 update using my PC as the proxy server. Everything seemed to work fine. I downloaded the PS3 PKG file which is now saved on my PC. 

The problem I have is that the PS3 still wants to download the update from the internet rather than download it from my PC after I have done everything right (I think so). the PS3 proxy server even shows in the log TAB that it has re-directed the PS3 from the download link to the file location.

I am really battling with this.

Any help will be appreciated guys.

    just plug in a usb stick to pc transferr all files to it then plug usb into ps3 and should be able to transfer to ps3 hard drive.

    OP have you thought of just letting your PS3 download the update from the PSN without the use of the proxy server?  It seems that the PS3 doesn't want to play nicely with your server setup and you should bypass it for the update.
