Battlefield 1 disc installation problem

Hello I installed "Ea App" and I would like to install the Battlefield 1 physical files contained in 5 DVDs.

The game on "Ea App" shows in my library Battlefield 1 with expansions as not downloaded. I no longer have the files on my old PC, but I found the 5 installation DVDs of the original Battlefield 1 game. However, "Ea app" only offers me a download option and not a installation from physical sources.

When I insert battlefield 1 disc 1 and launch the disc setup it tells me to install "Origin" first then install after the game. A "Origin "setup is included in dic 1. But as "Origin" has been updated by "Ea App", I find myself stuck. Can you help me resolve this issue ? (Actually i have no games installed on Ea app)

Best regards

Chris

    for oldboys

I think the discs contents of the two editions (Standard and Revolution) are the same.
the origin installer has the following path:
    \\Autorun\Origin\OriginThinSetup.exe
it is interesting that the size of the origin installer is only 29 MB (the version is 9.12 and the date of modification is 2016.09.10)

@HUN_gattaca_lg I have this box on the left. how to install it? I feel cheated because I overpaid for the CD versions and I can't use what I paid for. Is this even legal under the law?

I think there was no code in the BF1 Standard Edition box.
And there is no entry in my ea.com profile that I have this physical disk version.

But for example, I can find codes in my Amazon Prime profile .

    Stop Destroying Videogames
    https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en#

    Objectives
This initiative calls to require publishers that sell or license videogames to consumers in the European Union (or related features and assets sold for videogames they operate) to leave said videogames in a functional (playable) state.

Specifically, the initiative seeks to prevent the remote disabling of videogames by the publishers, before providing reasonable means to continue functioning of said videogames without the involvement from the side of the publisher.

The initiative does not seek to acquire ownership of said videogames, associated intellectual rights or monetization rights, neither does it expect the publisher to provide resources for the said videogame once they discontinue it while leaving it in a reasonably functional (playable) state.

    Hi everyone,

Since Origin is no longer supported, in order to install BF1, it's necessary to download it through the EA app. When you originally installed the game, you were asked to register the code on your Origin account, which is still the same as your EA account / EA app account. This means that you just need to log in with the same EA account on the EA app in order to access the game and download it.

    I hope this helps,
