Battlefield 1 launch error - need help

This happens to me as well. It seems to be a widespread issue.
Are you using Win 11 24H2? That seems to be causing the issue, combined with EA's abandonment of BF1. EA should release a bugfix patch but that would mean actually supporting software they still sell, where customers want to run EA software they buy.
