Battlefield 1 multiplayer has significant Server problems

Having the same issue for over a month now.. heard EA is no longer doing server maintenance for BF1 but they clearly are maintaining official servers because those are all I play on PS4.. never had this issue until about a month ago so makes me suspicious they're sabotaging the older games to get people to buy the newer ones, as gaming companies have been known to do.. so we will only be able to play on private servers like on BF4.. I will not be purchasing the bew Battlefield if this issue persists
