Battlefield 1 PC-steam

I had already BF1 on origin, but I wanted to support the game more , so I bought it second time on steam.

For some months everything was ok.

Now when I try to open BF 1 to play from steam  , sometimes the game don't even start up. But the most of the times the game starts up and  in steam friends list, my profile is showing as online, and not playing BF1. Also hours, achievements do not count.

I tried many different things as reinstalling, clearing cache of origin/steam, verifying files from steam. Jetclean every time, restarts.....

I don't have any antivirus to restrict steam, origin or BF1. All my drivers are up to date..

Steam support center is clear that is no responsible for games from other companies.

In steam forums many many people have the same problem as me.

That is on you guys. You have to fix this thing a.s.a.p or you should just refund us the steam edition.

What is the point to pay second time the game on my beloved steam platform if you can't support it ?

I 've been waiting on EA live chat support for over 2 hours , the past 5 days....

Can you please help ?

It sounds like this is most likely an account-related issue, but I'm afraid that's not something we can look into here on Answers HQ.

The best thing to do would be to reach out to the EA Help team so they can take a look. You can find more information on how to set up a case with them over at the EA Help website. You can also speak with them over Twitter or Facebook instead, if you prefer.

  • Already spoke with EA help, they didn't help because it is on Steam.

Also steam doesn't help because it is game from EA company/Origin.

    Problem is not solved..

One friend of mine also has the same problem with me,  also MANY steam users have the same bug with me , if you check Steam-Battlefield 1-Community - Discussions

RIP money to buy second time the game on steam

    @Pericoloso1312

What happens if you try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch the game? If there's anything else running in the background that could be interfering that might help get around it.

For more details on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Once you've had the chance to give that a try please let me know if it helps. Thanks!
