Battlefield 1 won't start on Xbox One

Hi,

I just finished downloading Battlefield 1 on my Xbox One. When I went to play it for the first time tonight, the Battlefield title screen comes up for a second, then the screen goes black and nothing happens. Very frustrating.

Please help!

Thanks!
  • @soggyc0w try this
Could you try to theses steps:
    1. Press controller 'Option' on game tile
    2. Choose 'Manage Game'
    3. Select 'Saved data'
    4. Press controller 'Option' again over affected profile
    5. Select 'Delete saved data'
    6. Choose 'Delete everywhere' first
    7. If the profile image still appears in 'saved data' repeat step #6 but this time choose 'Delete from console' this time.

    Best regards!

    Manny

A Dialog pops up, Do you wan delete it from XBox or from everywhere, choose this (means Xbox and Server)
Your single play stands will lost. But your multi play stands will stay.

    hope this helps.

  • I’m having the same problem and tried all the recommended fixes except the save game delete.
As with the digital edition that’s what I have and even tried re downloading it twice still doesn’t work :/

Ea needs to refund us. This * is getting old. After update I can’t load any EA games. I deleted and reinstalled like Microsoft said and still nothing same error. Ox800705b4. EA is BS
