Battlefield 3 can't start on windows XP.

Why I can't run Battlefield 3 on windows XP?

When I run Battlefield 3 on windows XP I get an error

The Error is:

"The Kernel32.dll could not be located in the dynamic link library"

I already have it in C:\Windows\System32

but the game didn't work

What can I do to make it run on Windows XP?

Thanks.

  • Hi there.😕mileyhappy:

Battlefield 3 doesn't support Direct X 9. That means it is not supported on WIN XP.

The only suggestion I can give you is to upgrade your OS (Operating System).

Here are the official system requirements:

    Minimum requirements for Battlefield 3

    • OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or Althon X2 2.7 GHz
    • RAM: 2GB
    • Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
    • Graphics card memory: 512 MB
    • Sound card: Direct X compatible sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version

Recommended system requirements for Battlefield 3

    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.
    • Graphics card memory: 1 GB
    • Sound card: Direct X compatible sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version.

    and this

"Windwos XP doesnt support dx10 Or dx11."

    so i guess no

    sorry mate😕mileysad:

EDIT:1 more i saw after i post this

"As it was said before, XP is DirectX9.0c maximum. It's the reason I got myself a Win7"
