Hey, @Give_Me_Robux  make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield 3 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂

  • This is not "EA Solve my issue, thanks" place. This is the forum and for people to have access to your information there's a confirmation procedure. You should contac EA Help on their website, help.ea.com or via twitter or facebook. Explain your issue and they can try to help you. Besides that, just "it doesn't work anymore" does not describe what's your issue. There was a similar problem today already posted here (which shows you haven't taken the time to check previous posts - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-3/Battlefield-3-won-t-launch/m-p/10066831#M137168). Here's a list of things that I tried doing to my BF3 to no success but still, you can try and maybe works for you

    With regards to the game
    - Repaired using the Origin launcher
    - Uninstall and install 4 times
    - Run on campatibility mode (Windows 8 and 7)
    - Run as admin
    - Launch the campaign or co-op mode (does not launch)
    - Anti-cheat PunkBuster repaired and reinstalled multiple times
    - Killed the processes, reinstalled and tried to run
    - All my drivers are up to date

    With regards to Origin launcher
    - Installed and Uninstalled 3 times
    - Changed saving on the cloud and other options to no success
    - Checked the versions, everything is up to date
    - Cleared the cache as according to the Helper/Ticket system requested me

With regards to the browser server joining system
    - Tried multiple browsers, microsoft edge, chrome and mozilla
    - Deleted the cookies
    - Tried to launch other game modes (no changes)

I have Battlefield 5 on my PC as well and I can play it with no problems. I used to be able to play it with no problems but since I merged my accounts I cannot launch the game.
I can see, through the Task Manager that sometimes the game actually launches but it closes with NO ERROR MESSAGES after 2 seconds.

Try to be more specific with your description, maybe answer here what specifically is the problem and also, read the forum for the fixes people have tried.

@Lipous_Electus EA Steliana told me yesterday through their chat that their teams are working on it ( cause they have many complaints regarding this issue ). But she didnt know when and how it will be fixed ( an automatic update or something we should download ). So the best thing is waiting ....hopefully an automatic update for Origin . Best regards , GriMM
  • ive been looking around on the internet for 4 hours trying everything to make it work but the campaign doesn't work it just says initializing and it never launches
