Battlefield 3 keeps freezing

So I recently purchased BF3 and when ever I play the game it freezes. The game doesn't crash, just freezes and then I have to alt tab and use task manager to close it. This occurs in both sp and mp. I mostly get 5-10mins of gameplay. I tried repair the game and allowing it to bypass my firewall. Problem still occurs.
