Battlefield 3: Limited edition extra content help

I had pre-ordered battlefield 3:limited edition when it first came out and played it for a little while and hadn't been on until recently. It was then that I noticed not only should I have access to the physical warfare pack (which I have) but I should also have access to 'Back to Karkand' wich should also be available at zero cost. I have updated my battlefield 3 on xbox to the latest update and checked and checked again and for some reason I still cannot access B2K for free with my limited edition copy. I have looked elsewhere and they have mentioned that it automatically downloads when I register my online pass for BF3.

As I have done all I should to be able to access it I am still very confused as to why I can not? My friend also pre-ordered BF3 limited edition and he said it was only about a week or two ago when he  added B2K for free so that cannot be a reason why I am unable to access the content? If anyone is able to provide me with an answer as to why I cannot access it or has any suggestions that may provide helpful then please do! Thanks for any help, Matt. :S

The only required files for the Back to Karkand content on 360 are the Limited Edition Online Pass and the BF3 Multiplayer Update 1, which runs about 2.07 GB. If you have both of those files in your storage on your 360, you might want to try just joining a Back to Karkand match and seeing if you receive an error message along the lines of the "The server is running content that you do not have".

You should also be able to find the physical warfare pack in the live  market place

  • Are you trying to download B2K via the in game BF3 store or via the Xbox live store interface?  Try the in game store if you haven't and it should be free, because as another poster said it's the limited edition online pass code that makes B2K free.

I have already tried to join the maps that require B2K but it says I do not have content. Also I should be able to access 'assignments' if I am correct which I cannot.. :S

Actually the physical warfare pack has nothing to do with the Limited Edition, the physical warfare pack was a pre-order bonus from certain retailers which is now free to all BF3 players in the in game store.

Have you tried to re-download B2K in the BF3 in game store (not the PSN\Xbox Live\Origin store interface) and if so is it free or does it list a price?

I have tried many many times and every time it says 1200 MSP I restarted my router and xbox (not that it would help :P) so I am still very confused :L I have e-mailed the support so hopefully they can do something about it. thanks for the help and suggestions though guys 🙂
