Battlelog is a completely problematic site that gets stuck in the "joining server" and "waiting game to exit" tabs whenever I attempt to join a server, and so the game never launches. I already followed some tips such as open the site through Internet Explorer and disable the plugin-free option, but still it doesn't change a single thing.I must say that A LOT of people who bought BF3 on Steam is having the same problem and it seems that no one at EA is giving a proper support for this... Is there even a fix for this? Surely Battlelog is the only factor here, because I managed to start the campaign by disabling the online mode on Origin (so it doesn't forces me to open the site, directly opening the game menu ).

Go to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License and delete the file/s there then start the game. The game will create new ones and then it will work. This happens to me every time I have a windows update.Shoutout to https://steamcommunity.com/id/NeinNoNon9 on steam who found the solution

@AloisdidnothingBut it's already connected, literally is the first thing that Steam requires to do when I first open the game. As I said, the problem is Battlelog in its entirety...

@cercena99 if you're tried all of that make sure that you disable any script or popup blockers in the browser you are using since they tend to disable vital Battlelog functions preventing the game from loading.

I have a steam account I like to link my account since I have Battlefield 3 on my account

So Would I need to install steam and select on the link origin account somehow?

I am curious since I already own the game on origin

Can I link it to steam if I didn't buy it on steam?

@coldkeyes You can add your Origin game as a "non-steam game" on Steam to launch it but it will launch Origin and you must use Battlelog anyway.

I have the same problem, the game would launch whenever it felt like it, now it wont even launch at all. followed multiple guides to try to fix the problem but no luck, I submitted a request for a refund but got denied because I've "played the game for too long. How the hell have I played the game for too long if it doesn't launch and my steam library says that the game is running. battlelog is the same it just says "wattling for game to exit" This whole Battlefield on Steam is a disaster, can't play the game neither can I get my money back.

im having a similar issue. i have bf3 installed on steam and origin, and my accounts are linked. when i try to launch the game, it tells me that the game isnt installed? ive already tried uninstalling the origin copy, and uninstalling and reinstalling both copies together, and independently. really just wanna play some bf3...
