BattleField 3, Single Player, Game Crashes early in The Great Destroyer mission

I have BattleField 3 Premium Edition (retail box version) and have installed all the updates associated with it (that was about 4 months ago when I installed and updated).

I have been slowly going through the single player offline mission. All good until I came to The Great Destroyer Mission. It crashes when Blackburn jumps onto the moving train. (It doesnt actually crash - it just stays in the black load screen with the little blue rectangle flashing - and the sound just looping.)

My laptop specs are well above the min specs on the box.

Has this been seen before?

Is there some way to fix it so I can continue on with the missions?

    Ladies and Gentlemen

    Thanks for your input. Am happy to say that I have been able to progress past that 'crash' point by attempting [The Great Destroyer] mission in Easy Mode. I got past that point and finished the missions with a Credits Roll at the end. (That was also the The Great Destroyer mission which appears to be the last mission of single player missions)

    Here is what you need to do about the train jump bu,, not saying that you did that stuff but here are the steps in general

    Close any "trainer" program that you have, those that give infinite health, infinite bullets etc (because it causes various bugs with battlefield 3 campaign)

    Close the game and reopen it

    Put the game on fullscreen mode and also one of the lowest resolutions, either 640x480 or 800x600

    Enter the last checkpoint, but then restart the mission from the beginning, and this time it should work

    some of these steps might not be needed like to close the game and then enter last checkpoint etc, if you have it already open and are on the mission, simply close the trainer, change resolution and go fullscreen and restart the mission from the beginning, but if that doesnt work then close and reopen game too and it should work for sure, also avoid going alt-tab while on the mission
