Battlefield 3 won't allow me to play Multiplayer or Campaign

I bought the game yesterday and first noticed after installation, so I unsinstalled and tried again, same result, I performed a game repair and updated Origin and BF3 and still nothing different happ...

I clicked on run as admin, however I can't find windows 7 in the list, its on Windows XP serivce pack 3, and all that else is there is windows server, windows Vista, and windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0
