Battlefield 4 3D Vision

Hi,
I want to congratulate you on a fine game. It really is good. I've been an avid call of duty player since it's inception but was extremely disappointed with ghosts.
I bought battlefield 4 and haven't looked back.
I also own battlefield 3, which I didn't really give a chance to get into and only played a few times, but I fired it up the other day and boy did it look amazing in 3D. Truly jaw dropping. 3D is the greatest thing to happen to games since the Voodoo GFX card IMO.
When I loaded battlefield 4 I was sad to see that 3D was not fully supported. The game looked amazing but there was a problem with a few shadows being in 2D and some lighting FX only working in one eye.
These seem like relatively simple fixes that shouldn't take long or cost much to implement.
Can you please get ironing out these little 3D glitches so that we can appreciate this amazing game in its full glory?
Playing a game in 2D after playing in 3D feels like I've gone back in time.
I feel it's a step back, like reverting to mono sound or black and white colours.
The oculous rift is on the verge of launching (which I'm also considering buying) and I'm really concerned that battlefield 4 won't support it as this would be tragic. 3D TV's without glasses have also been released which will push 3D again into the mainstream market.
I can't help but feel Dice and EA are missing a trick here.
I would hate to see the battlefield franchises end up like the latest COD release (check their forums), where everyone plays the old versions but not the new versions, or have moved on like myself.
Oculous rift, 3D without glasses, 3D with glasses, tri def, 3D Vision, 3DTV play.
You might not have many players playing this way but you have to keep pushing the envelope. It's your prerogative. You are the chicken and we are the eggs!
If you don't, all the games that will use the frostbite 3 engine will have broken 3D too. This I find isn't very forward thinking.
For example look at Apple. Apple hardly make any money on the macpro in the grand scale of things (iPhones etc) but they do it as it gives their name prestige and works as a showboat and creates an elitist stance in the market place for its customers to look up to and admire. It makes perfect business sense. Something Infinity award has grossly overlooked.
By having broken 3D in the frostbite 3 engine you are devaluing your brand, game, game engine, developers and publishers reputation.
If you look after your top few % of power users the rest trickles down. word of mouth and respect for pushing the envelope goes a hell of a long way. Don't end up cutting off your nose to spite your face. Appealing to the masses is one thing, but go too far and you'll end up with the backlash that call of duty ghosts is experiencing right now.
It's paramount you consider a patch (or hire the helix from helix mod) to get 3D working with this game and would love to have an explanation of why you can't justify the tiny 'drop in the ocean' development cost when the oculous rift and 3D without glasses are out/hitting the mainstream in a few months.
Surely it would be more sustainable and cost effective to implement 3D incrementally now, instead of coming back in 6 months and have to start everything from scratch when the oculous rift and 3d without glasses surfaces.
+ you would have a lot happier fan-base in the meantime.
Please consider this as I think you are shooting yourself in the foot over something you're probably going to have to support later on down the line anyway.
This game feels truly next gen. You should be proud. I honestly think you will sell more map packs than ghosts as people have realised what a bad game ghosts is after they have bought it. I'll definitely be buying the map packs for battlefield but I won't be for ghosts this time round.
So please, for the love of gaming, implement working 3D into a patch.
It is sacrilege not to!
Think of the sales when the oculous rift is released and how many people will look for alternate games to play on it when no games using the frostbite 3 engine work!
Thanks for reading.

I Have been playing bf4 a couple of weeks and i really miss the 3D that I had in bf3, shorely it wouldn,t be that much trouble to implement 3d for bf4 with the budget you had with the tv adds and all 3D wouldn't, cost you too much

    yes, please!

3d vision is a must for bf4, it has potential to become one of the greatest 3d vision titles on the market currently.

pretty please! - i believe in you guys.

  • I too would like to see 3d work on this game, very dissapointing after how awesome it was in BF3!! That was the very model of how great 3d can be when done properly. Perhaps if all games had worked that well there wouldnt be so many skeptics.

  • Please add 3D vision support! This is a premium game, losing the 3D is a step backward from BF3!

3D Vision is working with the latest nvidia beta driver!
    Good work Nvidia/Dice/whoever.
You can't set convergence (+ the effect is not as good as battlefield 3) but it's a huge step in the right direction.
Thanks a lot. Keep up the good work.
Don't break the support with an update Dice, for the love of God! I'm in gaming heaven again.
