Battlefield 4 freezing issues

Ok i suppose you have heard this all before but when are we going to get some sort of resolution over the constant freezing issues.Have tried all the suggestions you have issued and reported them on the bf4 forums but still knowone seems to give a straight answer. Its been over 8 months since release and it just seems to have got worse. If this was anything else other than digital media i would have got a refund but as it stands my £40 quid is in some employees bank and i,m left with a broken game.I do realise that as with any kind of console/pc game there will be issues but this has really taken the biscuit. The cost of the game may not seem much to you but i work very hard like most people.I have decided that in the future i will not support ea/dice with more of my hard earned cash as it seems nothing or knowone will be open and honest and admit the game is broken.

Please dont answer to this post if all you are going to do is fire all these options of rebuilding the data base or re-installing from scratch.I have already wasted hours on this with absolutely no difference in performance/freezes

In my heart i know this will get knowhere and i will probably get some sort of automatic response. My final word on this matter......disgracefull/dishonest

i hear you there i also have a xbox 360 which has it happen often too

personally i dont think it is so much a console issue as it is a connection issue because it only happens when it is really starting to lag and just imagining a connection that is fragile already then having all the packets from someone ramming into you being crammed down that line could cause it to get jammed and cause a freeze. (I only say this because I have had it happen to me in Commander Mode where the graphics dont change very much lol)

though i have also noticed otherwise that my system really gets hot after only seconds of starting up even when well ventilated and will freeze on first game after starting up my system. (so it may need some kind of external fan blowing on it to help reduce the heat on the system)

though i stick with my first idea because my system still responds if i touch the on/off button instanly where as when it first came out i would have to unplug it because it wouldnt respond to the on/off switch.

Ufortunately I run the xbox1 so I cant directly help you. I do know when I attempted to run BF4 on xbox360 it was just to much for it and froze constantly .I finally just upgraded when I could and have not had the problems since. The number one suggestion I can give you is port forwarding and a dedicated IP on your router. Prior to me doing this I could only run network smoothing at about 30% and network updating on low now it is 100% and high with no glitching or freezeing. I really think BF4 was built around the new platforms and they attempted to make it fit everything else. Sorry I couldnt help more if at all. Good luck

This happens to me to all the time it will freeze after the match is over or before the game starts.... I've noticed my consule doesn't freeze as often when I cleaned the vents and dont play for it for long periods of time... I'd give that a try.

Thanks for the responce guys.My overall point of my "rant" as some people might say is the fact that knowone can help (ea/dice) etc and that bf4 is a lost cause and will probably never be right.I look at all the threads/comments about bf4 freezing and feel sad that the game is probably the best around (when it works)Its those people who control the companys sat in there office and rubbing there hands at all the money they have stolen from hard working people out there.....Enough said i think

i feel for you TBH i preordered COD GHOSTs Hardened Edition basically 120 dollars for 360 and every time i go to play it looses connection to their servers and says i have lost connection though i still stay connected to xbox live so i hear for those with the older consoles who bought these new games with high hopes ☹️

though how nice it is to play BF4 on the xbox one I still prefer to play 360 because of less people and it seems better paced

I agree with what your saying. On one hand I understand the overwhelming logistics the gaming team faced. On the other hand they chose to distribute a game that still faced way to many problems across the board. Honestly I feel they chose to distribute to make money on something that had to many man hours and money invested to scrap and start over. The team in  general probally faced the same thing most of us do . Management making decisions without talking to the ones below them.
