Battlefield 4 not launching through steam

So i installed battlefield 4 through steam, and i can't launch it at all. I have battlefield 1 and 2042, and i see on the EA app that i can install them from steam and it will automatically launch with the EA app, but since i have EA play, battlefield 4 shows on top that i have EA play, and tells me to install, even though i already have it installed through steam. Any fixes please?
