    You could try to start Windows in safety mode with network access in order to install the game. If that is not working, drag the BF4 folder from your DVD to your desktop and start the application from your hard-drive.

    I had the exact same problem, many people said to disable your firewall ESPICALLY IF YOU HAVE MACAFEE! I'm trying it now, APPARENTLY it works. In my opinion EA should just stop being crappy and get of their lazy asses to fix their broken game...

    Check the disc, I had purchased it for XBox 360 and there was a data write problem during the manufacturing process, happened to quite a few discs from the sounds of it. May have affected PC installs as well.

    Hey I am having the same problem and I was told 2 try opening another admin 1st shut down your computer 2nd restart it 3rd u will see when it comes up if your using a windows 7 by dell a list of profiles to login to your computer you'll wanna make another 1 somewhere in I believe the control panel and then sign in in that profile and then try installing it should allow u to install it . Hope it helps
