I just checked your Battelog profile and both your PS3 and PS4 soldiers are both rank 114 so it seemed that things just needed time to sync up: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/user/RadarLuv67/
I can confirm that this method still works. I just did it today. just make sure that you are using your original user ID that you got premium with in the first place.
