Battlefield 4 Sound Cuts In and Out (PC)

Ever since I've downloaded BF4 in late 2014, I've been experiencing issues with in game sounds cutting in and out randomly throughout the game. I have tried setting GstAudio.AudioQuality to 4 like many have suggested, and had no luck. I also tried increasing GstAudio.SoundSystemSize to 64 and had the same results. Help would be much appreciated!

P.S. is anyone else experiencing these issues, or am I the only one?

P.P.S. I am running a Phenom II x4 965, a R9 270x, and 8GB of ram if it helps

Don't listen to @sossirb, he doesn't play PC and doesn't know what he is talking about.

Have you checked to see if all your sound drivers, etc are up to date?  Also, have you tried a simple "Repair Game" via the Origin Client?

Also, do you happen to have Task Manager up while playing?  Do so and see if you get any spikes on your CPU when you experience the audio cutting in and out.

I've played many a pc game, not just the Battlefield series. No issues with losing sound. You might want to follow Tony's advice. This is not something you should be experiencing in any game on an ongoing basis.

And my standard question for Windows 10 is, do you have Cortana turned on? I had to disable that feature because she kept messing up my games.

Yes, yes, and I'll try checking task manager.

As it turns out my cpu was at 93-97% most of the time, so I suppose my cpu is the problem. ☹️ Oh well.
