Battlefield 4 Upgrade - from standard to premium

Hi, 

I purchased Battelfield 4 the standard game from the shop. 

I played it for a week then decided I wanted premium (for extra levels etc: ).  I have now purchased Battlefield 4 premium. 

Do I have to reinstall the whole game?  Or can I just put in the product code or what?  How do I upgrade from Battlefield 4 standard to Battlefield 4 Premium?

Also, bonus question:  I have purchased a battle pack for $14.95 to get all the guns.  Completely useless without the scopes!  (you guys are very skilled at getting money out of us).  is there another add-on I can buy to just get the same scope for the SVD 12 as is in the Campaign?   VERY ANNOYING that you do this!!!

    From your profile I see that you are on PC: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/user/jeremydmarshall/ and no you will not have to redownload the base game, just download the expansion packs.

    That means that the premium entitlement has already been applied to your account as soon as you redeemed the code in Origin or made your purchase via origin. In order to download your Premium content in Origin follow these instructions:

    Start Origin you will be prompted to download your expansions. If this doesn't happen right click the BF4 icon in your games library and select "show game details" then on each expansion right click and select "download". After all selected expansions download you can play BF4 on the expansion packs. Then go to Battlelog, multiplayer, server browser and at the top of the page add the new expansion maps and game modes to your server browser filter settings to find games on the new maps.

    Regarding the shortcut question, attachments were not included in these in previous games nor in BF4.  If you want attachments you'll have to earn them via getting kills with the weapons as in previous battlefield games.  You also cannot purchase any addons to get the scope that you want.

    Thanks for your help. 

    I purchased the base game from a shop. 

    I purchased the premium version from a shop (not from online). 

    So I have a physical disk for the premium version.  Is there a place I can input my product key or something so that I can download as you said and not have to reinstall?

    You just need to put the code in and download all the expansion packs. All the premium content i.e. the battlepacks will be added to your battlepacks in the battle log. As for the scope thing battlepacks seem to unlock scopes fo completly random guns. With most weapons scopes will be unlocked after 10 kills but snipers always have the 8X scope to start. Hope this helped.
