Battlefield 4 xbox 360 not working

I have a 250gb hard rive for my xbox 360 slim and have installed battefield 4, but when I put a disc in there is a loading page with a picture of Shanghai on it in the rain and it never loads. Can someone please help?

My son got BF4 for Christmas, and was having the same problem. All other games work fine. I spent about an HOUR online with an EA tech person, going thru the delete cache/reinstall stuff. They finally decided the disc was "bad", and I had to send it to them to be replaced. I am currently waiting on them to respond/send me another. It's been a week. Don't know if this helps, just wanted you to know you're not the only one.

Have you tried to erase it and reintall it? You can also clear your cache on your hard disk. It helps me a lot of times.

  • I'm having the same problem, but on the Xbox one.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and it still doesn't work.  It works fine on my brothers account though!  Just for me, after I completed the campaign...

Xbox360 Battlefield 4 will not play multiplayer game. It just freezes on the rain scene.

I have deleted the game/cache and reloaded trying various methods but it still does not work. I have been in touch with EA but no joy and with Game (who I bought it from).

This is very disappointing as it was a Christmas present. All other online play works ok.

    Poor showing from EA.

Other than give up on this game anyone else got any tips on getting it to work?

I always join my multiplayer games/customize my loadout from battlelog on a pc / tablet. I have less trouble doing so.

    Hope that helps. 🙂

It's back to he shanghai pic again, just like last time there is a loading symbol at the top right but no luck. Probably will be stuck like this until I find the solution. I inserted disc 2 inside and scrolled over where it says play game and hit x which shows game settings. I installed from there and did the same with the other disc. On the second disc I put in, it told me to install the game but I needed the 2gb of space. I had the space so I continued, it installed and went to the same shanghai picture again. Any thing else I could maybe do?
