At first, you should try to power-cycle your routermodem. To do so, disconnect it from the powersource for two minutes and connect it again in order to boot the modem up again. Please keep in mind that just turning it off won't work, you need to unplug it from the power cable.
You should check your router ports. Following ports should be open:
TCP: 53, 88, 3074
UDP: 53, 88, 3074For specific instructions on how to open your ports, please visit http://www.portforward.com/ or contact your router manufacturer.
To get sure that no corrupt data causing your issue, you should clear your cache:
- From the dashboard, click on My Xbox.
- Select System Settings.
- Select Storage.
- Highlight Hard Drive Device.
- Press Y to select Device Options, then Clear System Cache.
- Reboot your console.
Please keep us updated. Additional information about your internet connection or routermodem might help us to solve your issue.
Cheers
Basti
I had this same problem but I don't think it is my internet because another online game I try to play works fine and I have retried restarting my router.
have you tried clearing your cache? the steps on how to do so are listed above
I just tried that and it didn't work.
try doing it again 3 times in a row then try accessing hardline. its recommended on the xbox support forums and is recommended by most of xbox support.if i find anything that may help ill post it here
That didn't work and I tried rebooting my xbox after also and that didn't work either.
hmm lets try moving both profile save data files to the cloud storage then start the game new and select the hdd as your storage to see if that does anything. if it doesnt work there wont be any harm as you can move the 2 files back to the hdd just as long as you dont accidentally remove them. in the event you do accidentally delete them your single player will be lost however your multiplayer progression should be ok as all the other battlefields store them server side not client and i assume its the same for battlefield
I have actually tried doing this already and completely reinstalling the game.
did you try deleting the title update?
Like I said I moved my saves to a flash drive, deleted everything else and reinstalled.
