Battlelog to Xbox Account

Question

I am trying to connect my Xbox account and my battlelog accounts, but it says my Xbox account has been linked to another battlelog account already. On the xbox it says to sign up. I've rented a server before too, and I believe you need a battlelog account to do that, but I might be mistaken. I cannot remember ever creating and linking another account to my gamertag. An suggestions?
