BF 3 has never worked since the start

I boughtt the BF 3 deluxe edition and it has never worked since the start..in campaign mode the LMB button will not "Fire"..However iin on-line mode the LMB willl not stop "firing".  I've un-installed and re-installled many times to no avail.I've just bought a new PC and  the same fault occurs? Thoughts
