Regarding your inquiry about the potential release of a remastered version of Battlefield 2, please be advised that I am not employed by or affiliated with EA or DICE.
Therefore, I do not have any information regarding potential future releases or remasters of their titles, including Battlefield 2.

It would definitely make for a great remaster, but as of now I believe there are no plans for it.
Many of the Battlefield 2 maps have been remastered over the years, so at least we can still enjoy them in the "newer" Battlefield games.
