Bf4 error code 1 + connection to ea online lost

Question

Unable to access multiplayer in bf4. Whenever I quickmatch or server browse I get the error code 1 message, then lose connection to ea online a few seconds later.

Things I've tried that didn't work:

Deleting and reinstalling the game

rebooting my internet and ps5

Restoring licences

Unlinking and relinking my psn account to my ea account

Every other non-ea online game works fine (i.e., COD, GTA)

I've tried playing bf1 and bf2042 to try "refresh" my account but they can't connect either, so the issue must be on ea's side

Never had this issue before, and seems to have started just as the bf2042 free weekend started

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

Unfortunately I use a ps5 so I'm unable to do those sorts of thingsI've contacted ea support so hopefully they'll help me on their end&nbsp;

Hi&nbsp;@bullet1maniac&nbsp;When you have a moment can we try the following?

Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from

EA App - Repair (My Collection &gt; Tile Dots &gt; Repair)
EGS - Repair (Library &gt; Tile dots &gt; Manage &gt; Verify)
Steam - Verify in your library

EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu &gt; Help &gt; App Recovery)&nbsp;
Connection&nbsp;and&nbsp;Advance Connection&nbsp;Guides&nbsp;
Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
Run the&nbsp;System File Checker tool then Check for&nbsp;Windows&nbsp;and&nbsp;GPU&nbsp;updates&nbsp;&nbsp;
Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues&nbsp;
Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
