what is the meaning of AA?

i have a problem , my bf4 always crashes when starting the game too

i'm brazilian , and i don't speak english very well , and the google translate isn't good!

    AA= Anti Aliasing 

    It makes the edges less sharp.

    Try my soluton too to fix the crash.
