bf4 ps3 to ps4 upgrade code expiration and system

Hello

i have looked for an answer in other posts but haven't found exactly what i am looking for.

So , i have pre-ordered BF4 disc  for the PS3 on amazon.... i know i will get  the china rising dlc and also a code for upgrading to PS4 in digital form for $10.  i also know that the code for getting BF4 digital on PS4 will expire at the end of march 2014

Lets suppose i cannot buy a ps4 before march 2014....

if i don't have a ps4 before march 2014 , Can i redeem the code and pay  the $10  for the BF4 digital copy using the ps3 store ??     so in later months, lets say  july 2014, when i get my PS4 system i can just log in using my PSN account  and download the digital version of BF4 which i have paid before in the ps3 store ??

Also, if i buy the disc in the US but i am planning to send it as a gift to someone in Mexico, will they be able to redeem the codes both for the ps4 digital version and for the china rising DLC  ??  i know that some DLC codes  that are acquired in the US cannot be used in other region stores.

    I'm actually trying to find out the same answer....If I find out, I'll post it on here....I preorderd bf4 for ps4 instead but im not getting the ps4 till around june july myself and i'm actually searching because im hearing about the redemption of codes by march of 2014.

    I THINK THE ASWER IS : YES ?  CORRECT

    First of all there are two separate  actions here

    1) PURCHASE THE DIGITAL COPY

    2) DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL IN PS4

    what expires in march 28 is the  opportunity to buy the digital copy at  $10  dls , And not the download And install action

    in any case i will redeem my code And pay the $10 dls, If it works in July-august 2014 when i get the ps4  then fine.....   

    If it does not work then  also fine i would have just lost $10 dls....    And by  august 2014 my guess is that the game will have dropped prices.

    i redeemed my code for battlefield 4 to upgrade the other day place the ps4 digital download for 9.99 in my shopping cart to pay for it the next day to find out its removed out of the my cart and no where to be found in the psn store ? what the hell anybody else happen to you? any help

    i have the same question and also i didnt receive my ps3-ps4 upgrade code with my copy just the china rising.

    I got scammed on ps4 cuz i gotta buy ps plus to even use it... **bleep** sony, **bleep** ea, **bleep** everyone in the ass who came up with that idea... i want my damn money back or im gonna sue cuz i bought the upgrade fully expecting to be able to play it like the full game and what do i get? 18 damn more dollars for ps plus!!!!!!!!! Sony **bleep** you and all u asian retards im never buying and playatation products ever again

    Am I able to redeem the code on march 28 or do I have to do it before?
