BF4 Won't Launch on Steam - EA App "Access Denied" Error
Hey everyone,
I'm having a persistent issue launching Battlefield 4, which I recently purchased on Steam, and I've run out of ideas.
Whenever I try to run the game, Steam launches it, the EA App opens, but then I immediately get the following error message (originally in Portuguese):
Original Error: "Acesso negado. O download deste título pode já ter sido feito no seu dispositivo por outra pessoa que possui o jogo. Faça login em outra conta ou reinicie o aplicativo para tentar novamente."
Translation: "Access denied. The download of this title may have already been done on your device by another person who owns the game. Log in to another account or restart the application to try again."
I have already tried everything I can think of:
- I've double-checked and confirmed I am using the correct EA account.
- My Steam account is properly linked to the same EA account.
- I have reinstalled Battlefield 4.
- I have reinstalled both Steam and the EA App.
- I have restarted my PC multiple times.
Even after all these steps, the error continues to appear. It seems to be a license or account issue that I can't figure out.
Has anyone else experienced this or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
