I've been trying to get the Dead Stop assignment for a day now, to no avail. According to the Assignments tab, I need a shotgun ribbon and open/close the Caspian Border Gate in a single round. I've done this multiple times now, but I haven't gotten the assignment yet. I think something might be broken with it.
Which gate are you activating? There is one that "slides" open, and then there are two that raise up (yellow and black with spikes). You have to activate the yellow / black ones with spikes, not the sliding one. They are right by Bravo objective.
@TapouTony420 Indeed the Bravo gates. I followed this video to the letter, where you clearly see them completing the assignment, which did nothing for me.
Did you raise / lower the gate and get the Shotgun Ribbon in the same match?
@Iexxi When i personally did this assignment, I needed to get two shotgun ribbons. For some reason the first didn't count. Try to get two, and see if it pops up. I raised the gate, then got the ribbons. Don't know if that order helps or not.

Thats good to hear. You may have either missed the pop-up, or sometimes the Battle Reports take some time to sync with Battlelog and you wont receive awards, etc until the sync happens.
