Can i pre-order battlefield 4 for an origin friend?

My friends birthday is coming up and i want to preorder the game for him.  Is there a way to do it through origin? Similar to gifting in Steam i guess

    As i understand you can preorder only you need later give him a code, that your fr needs to redeem when bf4 going to be released🙂

    Edit by eadennis: Currently there is no gifting option available in Origin, also, purchasing the game with your account will redeem the game on your account. At the moment the best option would be a pre-paid credit card or a gift via Paypal that your friend can then use to purchase the game with his account.
