Can you change your soldier model in BF3?

I notice you have the option to change camo and look of guns and whatnot.  Is it possible to change the soldier model you are using when using any particular class?  For example... the Assault class is a black man with sunglasses.  Can you use a different model than that or is that built in and unchangeable?  Thanks.
