can't use premium content neither i cant join a premium server
hello i have a problem with battlefield 3 on pc, i own the game with premiun since 2015
but after 2 weeks ago i no longer have acces to neither any equipment or gagdets from premium or any premium server except back to karkand ,thats the only one who i have complete access to it,just to be clear in both origin ,ea app and in my EA acount theres multiples time where it is said that i own the game and their dlcs
every time i try to join a server with premium i get this message: Game disconnected: you are missing content from the game
and if join a vanila or back to karkand server i can join with no problems but i cannot equip weapons from the other dlcs like the xbow ,the m911-stac or any other weapon from their respective dlcs like the spas 12 or m5k or lsat among other weapons
i already try deleting the game ,installing EA app, intalling origin again, deleteing the cache of both, deleting the entire game delete my cookies and contact support and so far nothing works
ill probably have the same issue at this fellow user https://answers.ea.com/t5/Battlefield-3/Battlefield-3-Premium-Edition-Missing-content/td-p/10426833
but i honestly dont know what to do at this point
- @Hengilore So CS removing and re-adding Armored Kill solved the issue which tells me that it is the issue that I pinged @EA_Atic on. CS will have to remove and re-add all of your DLC expansions (B2K,CQ, EG,etc) which will solve the issue you are experiencing.
For this solution (: Xpack1 missing installer data.xml
Copy "__Installer" to Xpack1 from Xpack2, open it and replace all "Close Quarters" with "Back to Karkand", then try to join the game
Let me try to remember this solution, go to your Battlefield 3 folder, then the update folder and you'll see folders Xpack1, Xpack2, Xpack3, Xpack4, and Xpack5. Under Xpack1 (or in your case the Armored Kill Xpack folder since your's works) copy the folder "_Installer" to the Xpack folder(s) that says you're missing content for, open the installerdata.xml with notepad and change the name in the xml folder from what it is to the name of the expansion that won't install. You'll need to do that for each missing expansion pack that you own but it doesn't see the entitlement for. I can't say this will still work but may be worth a try. I recommend contacting CS again and having them remove and re-add the entitlements since we saw that it works for you.
