Cheaters in bf3

Hello,

This is not the proper procedure for reporting users. 

The How to Report Cheaters FAQ shows the proper steps:

If you encounter someone who is cheating, abusing the ranking system or harassing other players in-game and you wish to report them, it is recommended that you submit any or all of the following:

1. The screenname, Gamertag, PSN ID or Origin ID of the offender.
2. A screenshot of the action as it is taking place.
3. A screenshot of the main score screen.

Note: Having a screenshot is not necessary, but will help with taking action against the offending player. You may also submit a recorded video of the game if uploaded to YouTube.

Submit the report through help.ea.com by following these steps:

• Click on the Contact Us link
• Log into your EA account (if not logged in)
• Enter in the game title or franchise under "What product is your question about?"
• Under Category, select Gameplay / In Game
• Select your Platform
• Click on Email Me
• • Be sure to include as much information about the player in question in the Description. Under Sub-Category, click on Other and type "cheating" or "reporting a cheater".
• Click Submit once finished.

Once the infraction has been fully reviewed and verified, the appropriate action will be taken against that account. Due to our privacy policies you will not receive an update on the action taken.

Note: Incorrectly reporting or creating false reports of another player abusing the ranking system is a violation of the Terms of Service and actions will not be taken against the player reported. Action may, however, be taken against players who fraudulently report abuse.

To save a screenshot:

• Press the PrtScn (or Print Screen) key when the screen you want to save appears. The Print Screen key is usually located above the arrow keys on most keyboards. This will save an image of your screen in your Windows Clipboard.
• Open any image editing software (MS Paint, Adobe Photoshop, PhotoImage, etc.).
• Create a new image.
• Select Edit.
• Select Paste.
• Save the file as a .jpg file (to keep the file size down).

To report a player on Xbox Live:
Find his name in the recent players list > File Complaint > Cheating > Submit

To report a player on the PlayStation Network:

• Go to the PSN website and sign in to your user account by entering your PSN user ID and password into the boxes provided.
• Click the "Report Behavior" link on the right hand side of the PSN website or enter the address to the PSN complaint form webpage in your browser's address bar. The PSN complaint form will appear, with two input boxes.
• Input your sign-in ID into the top box and the cheater's ID into the bottom box. Click the "Next" button.
• Click "Cheating," which is the third button from the left.
• Click the "Submit" button to finalize the complaint.
