Complaint Regarding DDoS Attacks on Battlefield 4 Servers

 

Dear DICE Support Team,

Myself and many others have been suffering for years from a serious issue on the Battlefield 4 servers. Some individuals are extracting the server IP addresses from the Battlelog page and using them to launch Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks. When this happens, the servers freeze or crash, disconnecting all players.

 

We understand that official support for Battlefield 4 has ended, but as long-time fans of the franchise, we kindly ask you to consider providing a solution or protection to prevent these attacks.

    Dear Support Team,

    The Battlefield 4 server .

    [vip]-*..KSA..Golmudonly..{3200T)-custom..[M has been stuck at 1/64 players for the past two days. I have been unable to join the server, and whenever I try, I receive a message saying that I have lost connection.

     

    Please restart the server as soon as possible.

    Hello abu_afrah​,

    Battlefield 4 servers are privately owned, EA has nothing to do with server restarts or anything else in that domain.

    Our server is having the same issue and many servers are under Ddos attack as well. The issue is from EA, they are so lazy to ask the host to add the anti-Ddos protection which is free. I can’t understand why EA is silent and do nothing for the players who pay money. I have contacted with the i3d which is the host company for Europe servers and I was told by them that they can add the anti-Ddos protection but since the server is under EA, EA must request this service and EA doesn’t want to do that. It’s shameful and unacceptable.
