CPU/GPU Spikes, Stuttering, Rubberbanding, Framerate drops, etc

It would be nice if this issue would finally be acknowledged. It's great that you are redirecting us here but a week and half later and we still have no official word regarding this issue which is making the game unplayable and effecting a lot of people. Here we go again:

My System:

Intel i5 750
4GB DDR3
Nvidia 560 GTX
Windows 7 64 bit.

The things I tried:

  • Custom config with recommended tweaks.
  • Change all the settings to low.
  • Run the 32 bit version.
  • Update all my drivers (Directx, Videocard, Windows update, etc)
  • Reinstall the game.
  • Unpark CPU cores or park them (both were suggested)
  • Change Physx setting in Nvidia Control Panel.
  • Close all other programs, including Chrome, when the game is starting.
  • Reinstalling Directx. Reinstalling all the executables in in the Battlefield folder.
  • Reinstalling Microsoft Framework.
  • Changed Nvidia Control Panel settings to  Max Pre-Rendered Frames to 1. Also disabled Geforce experience and did a clean install of the drivers without installing the HD audio driver.
  • Danced around the PC naked while doing an Voodo enchantment.

It's not a lag issue. Be it SP or MP. The game has a massive CPU/GPU spike every couple of seconds which causes stutter. Regardless of what's going on in game btw (even when idling). There's no way around this. A couple of my friends are experiencing the same issue. All them are on Nvidia cards. Two of my friends have Ati cards and they aren't experiencing problems.

I hope to hear from you Dice. I can be patient. But please acknowledge this issue.

If you need anything else, please let me know.

Let me quote this from a benchmark site:

Results clearly show that the game runs much better on Windows 8.1 than on Windows 7. When releasing Windows 8′s vanilla version, Microsoft announced better  performance with  multicore CPU’s, especially with AMD’s FX CPUs. What Microsoft said, Microsoft delivered. It is perfectly fine that new operating system brings better performance but we do not know why there is so much stuttering with Windows 7 OS. When we say stuttering we are not referring to frame drops or even Frametiming, we tested all that  and it brought us nothing. We believe that Framerating techniques would show what the users and we as well have experienced, however at the time of testing we didn’t have adequate  equipment to prove these claims but you can be sure that this is something we are going to be dealing with in the future.

    i7 2600k @ 4.6GHZ

    2X ATI 6950
    Windows 8.1
    Running at ultra

Only bugs on china rising at some specific places on the maps like the valley on the Altai Range

  • Exactly the same damn issue, I've tried everything the OP has, including the naked voodoo dance.

I've had this stutter since BF4 release and it's just seemed to have got worse.

It sucks ass, I've been to EA help for upwards of 5 hours in total and now I just have to wait for their EA technical 'specialist' to email me...that was like 3 days ago...really, really **bleep**.  I just want to play this frigging game without stutter and enjoy it at ultra settings which I'm supposed to be able to easily run it at, just like my friends PC who has near enough the same damn build of PC to me!

    i7 930@ 3.6Ghz

    6gb DDR3  RAM

    GTX 770 nVidia

    Windows 7

I see so many posts when I google 'CPU/GPU spikes' regarding this issue. I don't even have to mention Battlefield 4 in the search, I really hope DICE is aware of this problem but we'll never know
