DICE LA Camo causing crashes while waiting for players.

Having the DICE LA Camo unlocked causes the game to freeze and crash when the game is in the ready state (Waiting for players to join, before the stats become ranked.) Games that have already started do not seem to have this bug.
What is worse is that the camo does not even need to be equipped to cause the crash to occur, simply having it unlocked is enough. The crash doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific and has occurred before I'm even able to spawn. However these are the steps that both I and my friends have done to reliably reproduce the bug:
1. Have the DICE LA camo unlocked
2. Enter a ranked server where the game has not yet started (Waiting for players message)
3. Spawn in a vehicle with ANY camo equipped on your soldier
4. Switch the vehicle view to 3rd person mode
5. Exit the vehicle
If it doesn't crash on the first attempt, then it will on the second or third.
The bug isn't caused by any specific hardware, OS, or drivers; all the people who I have tested this with have separate hardware and operating systems.
