DirectX Error

i've upgraded my OS from windows 7 x64 to windows 8.1 64bit....i recieve following error :-
DirectX function
"m_output->FindClosestMatchingMode(&matchMode,&m_outputMode, m_device)" failed with DXGI_ERROR_INVALID_CALL:
Theapplication has made a erroneous API call that it had enough information to avoid.
This error is intended to denote that the application should be alterd to avoid the error.
Use of the debug version of the DXGI.DLL will provide runtime debug output with further information.. GPU "NVIDIA GeForce GTX650", Driver: 32723
