Same problem here. i bought a new pc for playing bf4 and right it is unplayable. my pc specs are:
be quiet! System Power 700 Watt (80+)
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, AMD 990FX
AMD FX-8350 8x 4.0GHz
16GB High-Speed DDR3 PC-1600 (2x 8GB)
AMD HD7970 3072MB (DVI/HDMI/2xDP)
Windows 8 64-Bit
new drivers
I do not think that there is something wrong with my pc.
does anyone have a hd 7970 and has got the same problems?
I have the same problem, too, Wooby. Brand new Haswell box. R9 280X (which is basically a 7970 GHz with new firmware). Getting the exact same crashing problem. Used Catalysts 13.11 Beta6, Beta7, and Beta8. I can't go earlier than that, because earlier drivers don't support my card.
I am furious at EA. I've tried every suggestion on these boards and the game will not remain stable.
Next time, EA, try having a *real* beta where this stuff gets caught in development, rather tha a glorified marketing demo.
