Still not fixed.
Let me elaborate on the issue:
I disabled all OC whatsoever. I've also tried lowering the GPU clocks lower and lower, they are now significantly below default clocks.
Looking at the event viewer, I have no other issues or crashes with the PC, except Battlefield 4 does.
The error of DirectX hang is still persistant, and the event viewer shows:

Currently experiencing the same issue. I have had no luck, but simply wanted to let OP know he isnt alone.
I have tried everything you have tried. ☹️
