if you contact ea support at 650-628-1001 or 866-543-5435 and explain to them that you are trying to get a game for your son on pc they will offer you a 15% discount code for the order, but the code is only valid on the origin store.
Im pretty sure that if you contact them and explain why you want this code you should be fine and be able to get the code.
