Downloading Battlefield Bad Company 2 using the physical disc

Question

I’m having trouble downloading my father’s old physical copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2 to my computer.

What ends up happening near the end after the installation of Punkbuster is complete, nothing happens.

Then when I go to my drivers and open the disc and click play is says:

your version is: 515195

Latest version is: 795745

You’ll have to update to the latest version to be able to play.

Do you want the latest version?

And when I click “yes” or “no” it says “you must be administrator in order to install. Please log into administrator. And closes out.

Hey&nbsp;@ProjectArchives&nbsp;It seems that something may be blocking the installation process on your Windows account.&nbsp;
You can create a new Windows admin account and then use it to install your game.&nbsp;

Okay.&nbsp;Start your system in clean boot mode, and then start installation on that new account.&nbsp;

@EA_Pulsar I took your idea but it did the same thing.
Punkbuster was almost done downloading, the tab close on itself, I went to the file to open the disc file back up, I pressed play and the updater showed up, the game say it’s out of date, and what ever option I choose it still says I need to be logged into administrator. ☹️
