(DUST 514 48 players online) DICE why only 24???

I got a key for closed beta (dust 514) last day i joind the game and when i saw 48 people online i was like "holy mother of a cow" 48 players!!!!!24 vs 24.XBOX players have 2 BF3 cd's,the second one is for enhanced graphics (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG).What im tryin to say here is that,why dont they release a cd (for both consoles) wich will allow us to play with 32 players.Why dont they try something like this?dONT SHOOT ME I KNOW THAT THE CONSOLES ARE 6 YEARS OLD AND FROSTBITE 2 ITS A NEXT GEN ENGINE.I want to hear opinion.Thank you

Vehicles, destruction, graphics, varying customized soldiers. Lot's of data/processing power. They went for graphics and gameplay over player count.

Thank of you i proved that BF3 its not made for consoles.But still i wonder how DUST 514 can hold 48 players...the game has vehicles and a lot of **bleep** on the battlefield,big maps....Anyway thnx for the link mate

Well, BF3's primary was consoles, so in a way it was made for consoles.
You know very well that you're playing on almost 6 year old hardware, therefore you can't expect miracles.
