Ea servers seem to be down every night now !!!

Every time I try to play battlefield 3 the last 4 or 5 nights all three servers have been down. I find this very frustating, annoying and very unproffeshional on the part of ea games for not fixing the problem or at least explaining what the problems they are having. I have also noticed that the problems are not just with battlefield 3 but several other games. I think the players have the right to really know what is going on here it does not take this long to fix a proplem. There have been problems with the servers in the past but they usually shut down for a couple of hours at night then they will be back online for months before they may need something fixed again. We the players would like an explanation of what is really going on here.
