EA Support (can't unlink my PSN account)

Got BF1 Ultimate Edition for Playstation 4 today  ... when logging in, it by default took my PS4 email address and I pressed next only to see that it not only created a new EA account with my PS4 email address but also has linked my PSN ID to the newly created EA account .. and GUESS WHAT ???!!! now I don't have any way to unlink the PSN account and link it with my personal EA account ... googled for sometime and found out that I have to contact the so called "EA GAME ADVISOR" ... Ohh great ... Live Chat option is there and estimated wait time is 1 min !!! Now waiting for the live chat to start for more than 1 hour and still nothing !!!!

EA HAS ONE OF THE SHITTIEST SUPPORT SYSTEM !!!! EVEN WORSE THAN STEAM !!! [removed]

  • I think you can find more information about this here https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/account/linking-your-origin-account-with-your-psn-id-and-gamertag/#wrongaccount

What if my Gamertag or PlayStation Network Online ID is linked to the wrong account?

If you’ve previously linked your Gamertag or PlayStation Network Online ID across multiple accounts, or if they’re linked to an account you don’t use, contact us for advice about the best way to bring all of your games together.

    Options include:

    • If you’ve got multiple EA Accounts with games on them, but your console ID is only linked to one account, we may be able to move your other games to that account.
    • If you have multiple EA Accounts with games and console IDs attached to them, we’ll discuss options for moving those accounts with you. We can only move them to an account that does not already have a PlayStation Network Online ID or Gamertag attached to it.

If we move an account with a PlayStation™Network Online ID or Xbox Gamertag on it, this will mean losing your game progress, in-game items you purchased or earned, saved games, trophies, and achievements.

This includes Origin cloud saves, multiplayer, online progression, and sometimes offline saves.

You may also lose access to some game content and online services for some games.

Your EA Advisor will discuss all of this with you and help you find the best option for your accounts.

  • Hello @Eloresean

Sorry but it's impossible to unlink your PSN ID from EA Account. You can only re-link your PSN ID to another EA Account. In that case you should contact EA support:  How to contact EA support

If you can't contact EA support via Live Chat, try to clear  your Browser cache or try another browser (Internet Explorer). Also, make sure you have disabled all browser extensions.  Some players reported that they were able to contact support via a Phone and a mobile browser.

@IIPrest0nII I tried. They said that it is as my account is already having BF1 on Origin, re-linking my PSN ID  to my original account would cause data loss. Is it true ?? ☹️ Can you help ?? Thanks 🙂
