I just started getting this error today. Not sure if it was related to installing the latest browser plug-in or not...
I've tried restarting and re-installing battle log plug-ins with no success.
I can't join any servers due to this error.
I just fixed this 10 minutes ago. Did the same thing as all the other fixes...pretty stupid but it works.
Open Battlelog > Top right corner, hover over your username then go to settings > Soldiers > Change your character portrait to something different.
Do that until it changes. I had to do it twice before it took effect. after that, Save and try joining a server again.

Just wanted to let you know that it really does work. I havnt posted anything on here in years but i need to say that this really works.

How much do you have to try it??? Cos every time i change my portrait and save it.... it goes back to the old one again, realllly weird.
We have now an error from ea online we cannot join any server
