Error Code 1 Battlefield 1

I haven't played BF1 for months. Today, when I started playing, I cannot enter any server. Every time I tried to join any server, the following error message showed up, and I'm unable to return to the server list or main page.
(Forget to change the language, it said: Fail to join the server, Error code: 1)

I tried the following methods to fix the problem:

  1. Restart BF 1, EAPlay, PC
  2. Check game integrity in EAPlay
  3. Clean cache
  4. Reinstall BF1

None of the methods above worked for me.

I also tried BF 5 and 2042, both game runs well and have no problems in join server

Would anyone help me debugging with this issue?

    Problem solved by reinstalling Windows. Don't know the cause and why reinstalling fix the problem.

    Hello EZIO0042​,

    The issue should be resolved after reinstalling. If not, the only other thing you can try is installing the game on a different drive.

    I tried reinstalling it on another drive, but I'm still unable to join any server.

    "Reinstalling Windows" is a bit misleading. What I used is "Fix problems using Windows Update".
