***FIXED*** Connection Problems - Disconnected from EA (1) & Origin could not start up (-5ef7ffff): The LSX server didn't respond within the set timeout.

My problem started with not being able to join any servers, with an error about being disconnected from EA.  Then yesterday changed to the new error about the LSX server.  Below is how I fixed it. Ha...

Can't play BF4 Open Beta... I keep on getting this error. I can successfully connect to the server, but when I'm logging in, I get:

ERROR
Origin could not get code (-5ef7ffff): The LSX server didn't respond within the set timeout.
 

I also had problems with BF3. Whenever I try to play, I always get the "BF3.exe has stopped working..." error. I could not find a solution to that problem either.

So now I can't play BF3 or BF4. Seriously, I'm pissed..... and extremely frustrated.

My specs:

Intel i7 4770k @ 3.50 GHz
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H
Samsung 840 Pro 256gb
WD Caviar Black 1TB
MSI GTX 760 OC Edition
Cooler Master Silent Pro M700 PSU
16gb Crucial Ballstix Sport 1600 MHz @ 9-9-9-24 timings
Windows 8 Professional 64-bit

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated... Origin is extremely annoying. I wish BF3/BF4 was on steam.....

Hi EA

Is it possible for you let us know if anyone is looking at this issue or if it has been filed in the "too hard" box for now?

    Hi peepz.

    I hade the same trouble as you and tested all of the above suggestions.

    I got mine working now, latest beta drivers and i did a windows update and had around 60 windows patches waiting,

    Installed all the windows patches and did a reboot, after that i can play.
