Hey, basically the title describes what's been happening. I boot up the game, pick a server, then when I want to change some graphics settings the game just freezes for a few secs and turns off. Any fixes for that? Has anyone had the same issue?

It will stop crashing. Adjust your settings, save them, close the game, and re-enable whatever-sync again if you want to.
The issue can't be resolved @TombstonePete, you will just have to change your video settings through the GeForce Experience.
I have the same issue with a different monitor, everything worked fine before I got this monitor. When I want to change the video settings for Battlefield 3, I just do it in the GeForce Experience.

This is linked to the monitor you're using, you can get around this by using the GeForce Experience (or Radeon Settings) to set up the video settings.
