It's the first time I started Battlefield 1, played a couple of campaign missions and after dying in my last mission, the game crashed when trying to reload the map/mission. The full error message is;
DirextX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUN. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770", Driver: 37306
Attached is a screenshot of the error and my dxdiag report.
My grahpics driver version may be out of date, it's;
Date: 10/1/2016
Version: 21.21.13.7306
Great game so far though!
EDIT: The game crashed for a second time. This time it was during multiplayer. I am now updating the drivers to a later version(v375.57, 10/20/2016) to see if there's any difference.
Alright, the problem seems to be gone for me.
There's a couple of things I've done;
- I have updated to the latest NVIDIA driver;
Date: 10/18/2016
Version: 21.21.13.7557
- I have disabled DDC/CI on my BenQ monitor.
- And I have disabled my third screen(TV) which was 'turning off and on' quite frequently due to a connected HDMI switch.
Hopefully these tips can help you guys. I will report in if the problem occurs yet again.
EDIT:
Nevermind, the error still occurs on seemingly random times.

I took as many steps as I could to limit this on my end to no avail. After the game update today (and I am using the newest NVIDIA drivers), I am still getting these DirectX/DXGI crashes.

There's the same, post in Technical support here.
My post from the other thread:

Same problem here with a GTX 770 EVGA
Steps I've tried.
1. Rolling back to previous graphics drivers (nvidia)
2. Underclocking my GPU to default clock settings (EVGA 770 is factory OC)
3. Reinstalling all drivers, all Microsoft visual C++ 2008 - 2015
4. Clean restall of GPU drivers.
I run all my games for max performance and couldn't care about graphics.
Attached dxdiag, please help. Willing to provide any more info
PS: I run the game at a stable 100-150 frames consistantly. I few spikes here and there but nothing to say. My PC should be running fine from the specs and minimum requirements for the game.

Getting same issue on Latest NVidia drivers 375.63 from 23/10/2016.
Game crashes randomly and have to restart Origin as well.
Running NVidia GTX 770.
Cheers!
